Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards |

For the second year running, RNRP sponsored the Environmental Award at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards. The Presentation Ceremony took place on Thursday, 26th November 2009 at Barcelo Hotel, Daventry, with top comedian Jason Manford as Celebrity Speaker and Awards Presenter. Manford is an English writer, comedian, actor, radio and television presenter and is a team captain on Channel 4's '8 out of 10 Cats' panel show. The Environmental Award looks for 'a business that has a very strong environmentally friendly ethos and has incorporated and raised awareness of environmental issues to staff, customers and suppliers alike. It is socially aware and has made great contributions for the better of the community'. RNRP Chief Executive, Michel Kerrou, presented the Award. Michel says of the evening, 'I was particularly impressed by the innovation and commitment to the environment that was demonstrated by the organisations who submitted entries to the Environmental category of the Award scheme, and the enthusiasm of their staff, suppliers and customers. The Environmental category, which RNRP were proud to sponsor, was an ideal opportunity for local businesses to showcase their contributions to improving the quality of Northamptonshire's environment, and to recognise the best, and celebrate their success. The evening's celebrations were brilliantly hosted by Jason Manford, who entertained with his unique Mancunian outlook on life, before focussing on the real stars of the night, the shortlisted organisations and the announcement of the winners. All in all, an evening to celebrate the dedication, success and innovation that makes Northamptonshire the great County it is, to live and work in.' Category Finalists were:
