Community Workshops for Environmental Education and Skills Development Training

Back to Events Page >>>

RNRP has secured funding of £9,980.00, under the 'Awards for All' initiative from the Big Lottery Fund, to run twelve day long FREE community workshops for environmental and skills development to help you manage your wildlife area. It is planned to run the workshops over the next 12 months with most being held at the Newton Field Centre near Kettering, where there is a range of habitats appropriate to the needs and focus of the workshops.

Workshops will take place according to the season and will cover subjects such as identifying wildflowers, meadow and wetland management, hedge and tree surveying and planting, hedgelaying, fencing and coppicing.

The first event has now taken place with great success and was fully booked, so reserve your place early for the next workshops!
